KI67 serial thermal protectors are widely used in motor of industry, electrical household appliance and electric equipment to avoid abnormal operation caused by overcurrent and overtemperature. The products provide effective, reliable and safe protection. The casing is made from the high intension PBT engineering plastic featuring high temperature resistance, and quick heat transfer. It is suitable for external installation of plastic hermetic motor and safe protection of the electrical household appliance.

Structure and protection principle

KI67 type thermal protector is composed of the parts of thermal conductive casing, bimetallic parts welded with silver alloy contact point, conductive bracket, insulation fixation stand, fixed contact strip and heat resistance cable. When current passes through the bimetallic parts with resistance and in case of abnormal operation, along with the increase of current or the environment temperature rises to the set value, the bimetallic parts perform quick action, opens the contact point, and disconnects the circuit. When the device is cooled to the temperature for safe operation, the contact point will automatically closes and recover normal operation.Note: TH series adopt the unified core. Their models vary based on only the different overall sizes of the casing.
